Use Your Skills to Make
a Difference

Crisis Relief and Recovery exists to train, prepare, and deploy leaders to serve and restore communities in crisis.

“What is “Disaster Leadership”?

Natural disasters are chaotic, and many affected communities don’t know where to start their recovery. CRR helps bring order and strategy to that chaos, and see communities restored.

Disaster Leadership looks like everyday men and women, with training on how to lead in a disaster, bringing clarity and organization so that huge amounts of work can happen in a short amount of time.

Here is how we work:
  1. As soon as a disaster hits, our Advanced Liaison team heads into the crisis and finds the hardest hit communities with the greatest need.
  2. Our Immediate Relief Team then establishes an area of operations, damage assesses the area, and leads the relief efforts to mobilize volunteers and quickly restore order to the community.
  3. We bring in Recovery Operations Teams or train community Long-Term Recovery Groups to lead and oversee recovery and rebuilding efforts.
In most communities we serve, our volunteers are the first to arrive, and the last to leave. Through our leadership, communities are restored in a fraction of the time it usually takes.

our Driving Force

CRR is a growing team of dedicated, skilled, and passionate staff and volunteers.  Our members bring skills developed over decades of military service, paramedic and EMT work, business management, and construction.  Together, we form disaster leadership teams that help communities in crisis recover in the fastest possible time.
