We are developing a training package to train them how to use open source software systems like @crisiscleanup, along with crisis leadership principles and our proven "community operations center" model.

Our expertise was requested after the recent floods which saw over 600,000 people displaced from their homes and over 160 deaths.

Recovery operations are never an easy undertaking

Recovery operations are never an easy undertaking and difficulties can be compounded with the lack of volunteers or the lack of available funds. This is why we are grateful to be partners with @SBPUSA.

SBP has been a vital help to CRR's Community Long Term Recovery Group and our rebuilding mission in Steinhatchee, Florida after Hurricane Idalia. Residents of this fishing town found their homes filled with water, knocked off foundations, or downright destroyed.

SBP provided a generous grant to cover the costs of this project, including all materials for a group of homes needing extensive renovation and rebuilding.

Over a million people are still without power acro

Over a million people are still without power across Texas as many are still dealing with the effects of the Hurricane as it ripped through the state. With temperatures in the 90's, that puts vulnerable populations at risk.

Hundreds are forced to live in shelters because their homes are inhabitable.

Over 150,000 people are forced to boil their water because water systems have been fouled.

There have been over 1000 requests for volunteer help in the path of the storm.

There will likely be over $1 BILLION dollars in insurance claims over the next months.
