Individual training
DISASTER
RELIEF
VOLUNTEER
Disaster Relief Volunteer training qualifies you to volunteer during the recovery phase of disaster and use your skills to help communities rebuild. It consists of online or in-person training modules that provide you with the background needed to succeed as a volunteer.
2026 IN-PERSON DATE: 12-13 Jun
This training allows you to continue to IRT training or deploy with a team.

Immediate Relief Team (IRT) training qualifies you to join a leadership team that deploys in the wake of a disaster to meet the needs of a community. Ideal candidates are in good physical shape and are willing to deploy into chaotic and challenging situations.
2026 DATES: 14-17 May, 16-19 July
Typical missions last 1-2 weeks and occur within the first days/weeks following a disaster.

RECOVERY
OPERATIONS
TEAM
Recovery Operations Team (ROT) training qualifies you to join a leadership team that helps oversee the recovery operations for a community. Ideal candidates bring work experience skills and have more flexibility of time to devote to longer term deployments.
